Be Part of the Evolution of Shooting

In 1976, John Dean "Jeff" Cooper (May 10, 1920 – September 25, 2006) United States Marine, two war veteran, creator of the "modern technique" of shooting and an expert on the use and history of small arms founded the American Pistol Institute (API) now known as the American icon Gunsite Academy located in Paulden, Arizona. Following exhaustive research and practical application, he and a noted group of firearms experts significantly contributed to the evolution of shooting from the Second World War through the start of the 21st century.

Building on this solid foundation, American warfighters from 2001 through today such as US Navy SEAL Chief Chris White (Ret.) and top-level competitive shooters such as 26-times National Champion Rob Leatham; have taken practical shooting to the next level.
